The activity is to produce, by moulding, elements for use on construction sites. Concrete is treated as an infrastructure material: batched, reinforced when the structure requires it, and taken through to maturity.

To meet the needs of the construction sector, ICC-CI is developing a plant for electrical poles, blocks, drainage channels, pipes, pavers and other precast elements. The site is at PK 44 on the northern highway and covers 8,389 m².

Economic and social purpose
A production base serving the country’s works.
Precast concrete supports the modernisation of road and highway infrastructure, bridge construction, the electrification of settlements, administrative buildings and housing. It also requires workshop labour, skilled staff and administrative functions, and therefore participates in employment in Côte d’Ivoire.
